MOANS® POURED GLASS

Glass was the most important late-nineteenth-century architecture medium. It would be hard to imagine what this world would be like if we had no glass. Poured glass jewelry, also know as patè de verre, was created in France in the late 1800s.  It has been used by almost all of the great fashion houses. It takes many hours to create just one piece, but well worth the effort.  The feel and look is so elegant and truly one of the greatest techniques created for fashion jewelry.

If you would like to learn more about this technique read What is Gripoix and Poured Glass in Jewelry, and What Isn’t written by Pamela Wiggins Siegel.
